Hi and thank you for visiting my Gallery!

Here you will find a growing collection of Puerto Rico Endemic and Puerto Rico Non Endemic birds. My goal in my photos is not only to capture the beauty of the Birds of Puerto Rico, but also try to show you their personalities and environment, but most of all interest you in your birds and their conservation. Through my love for the Birds of Puerto Rico I have learned how important it is to conserve our natural resources and protect our fauna. Through them, I have discovered many beautiful places in the Towns Puerto Rico I had never visited. Photography has been a blessing for me!
I also will be adding many photos I have of the Towns of Puerto Rico I visit. We are blessed to have such beautiful flora, fauna and scenery! I encourage you to go out and explore places you've never been to in your country!! Take a closer look at your birds. You will be amazed at how many different ones you will see and how beautiful they are! It is very important that we care for our birds and their environment. They depend on us!!

I always was the one in the family with the camera! As my interest in photography grew, a friend told me, "Gloria, what you need is a DSLR"! I then purchased my first Canon DSLR! What a new world it opened for me! I joined Photography Landscape groups and found so many friends and pros so willing to share their knowledge. I started going out and getting to know Towns of Puerto Rico I had never gone to! I then joined the FPBC, a Puerto Rico wedding organization, where I also have learned how to photograph people and where I have won recognition for my photos! As you can see, I love all type of photography, but my great love is BIRDS! As I write, I hear them chirping and my heart yearns to go out and hit the trail! I have learned so much from great bird photographer friends, books and from the birds themselves. It is extraordinary how such tiny birds survive migration and build and protect their nests. It gives me great pleasure to share my birds with you and maybe interest you to go out and enjoy them too!
